Additionally, the 49th annual National Pop Warner Little Scholar Banquet planned for Memorial Day weekend May 22-23, 2009 at Walt Disney World,
The 1st Team Senior Scholars, comprised of 35 football players and 35 cheerleaders, will be eligible to receive a college scholarship. Last year, Rachael Van Pelt, a repeat 1st Team Senior Scholar, received a $1000 scholarship from the Pop Warner national organization and a $500 savings bond from the Mountain Valley Conference. She is eligible again this year for a college scholarship at the National Level.
