Hillsborough Township Makes Proclamation Honoring the Hillsborough Dukes 2009 Jr. Midget Cheer Squad

On January 26, 2010, the Mayor and the Township Committee made a public proclamation honoring and commending the Hillsborough Dukes Jr. Midget Cheer Squad on their recent achievement of having won the Pop Warner Jr. Midget Cheer Large-Novice National Title.
This proclamation read in part, that the Mayor and the Township Committee did hereby commend the Hillsborough Dukes, its players, coaches, parents, and Board of Directors, not only for their victory, but for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport and to those principals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic achievement which its organization endorses. Furthermore, that the Mayor and the Township Committee did commend the Hillsborough Dukes Jr Midget Cheerleaders for the honor they have brought to themselves, their organization, and our community. |
